Message From the President

Hello Panthers and Panther Families!

As we wind down the school year, I find myself filled with gratitude and excitement. It’s hard to believe we’re just weeks away from summer—and even closer to celebrating the incredible CHHS Class of 2025!

With banquets, AP/EOC testing, and finals around the corner, I know everyone is juggling full schedules as we prepare to come to a full stop on May 22nd. Through it all, your support has made an impact on our students, staff, and school community. Whether you volunteered, donated, showed up, or simply stayed connected—we are truly thankful.

CHHS PTSA Updates
Membership & Election Meeting: Friday, April 25th

The CHHS PTSA will hold its annual officer election during the Membership Meeting on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 9:45 AM.

This meeting is open to the public, and we encourage you to attend. Please note that only current CHHS PTSA members are eligible to vote.

The CHHS PTSA Nominating Committee has slated the following nominees for the 2025-2026 CHHS PTSA Officers.  Individuals not slated, may run from the floor during the election meeting.  Please direct questions to CHHS Parliamentarian, Jacque Oley

Special Program: "Never Enough": Friday, April 25th

Are we pushing our kids too hard? Join the conversation that every parent, educator, and community leader needs to hear.

The CHHS PTSA is proud to host Jennifer Breheny Wallace, author of Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic—and What We Can Do About It, for a virtual book chat during our April 25th Membership Meeting!

In today’s ultra-competitive world, students are packing their schedules with AP classes, resume-padding activities, and non-stop extracurriculars. Families stretch their time and budgets to the brink—all in the name of success. But the result? A troubling surge in anxiety, depression, and burnout among high-achieving teens.

In Never Enough, award-winning journalist Jennifer Wallace digs into the root causes of toxic achievement culture and offers a better path forward. Through powerful storytelling and a survey of nearly 6,000 parents, she explores how we can help our kids strive for excellence without being crushed by it.

This is more than a book talk—it’s a timely conversation about what matters most.

This is a special CHHS PTSA program – open to all attend!

Teacher Appreciation Week: Are You Ready For It?

Next week, CHHS will be in our Teacher Appreciation Week Era!

The PTSA has teamed up with campus admin and local businesses to bring sweets, treats, and more to show our teachers just how much we appreciate them.

Want to be part of this “Wildest Dreams” week?

Consider donating online towards our Thursday gift card drawing! We’re hoping to surprise as many teachers as possible with a small gift card as a big "Thank You" — because our teachers deserve "Everything"!

Let's make them feel like they're in the “You Belong With Me” music video, surrounded by gratitude!
