Can you donate items for our Feb. 20 Staff Appreciation Breakfast for teachers? It’s a Monday holiday for our kids, but our teachers will be in training all day Feb. 20, so PTSA is feeding them a pancake breakfast to start off the day. Big thanks go to The Original Pancake House, who will be donating the made-on-site pancakes, butter and syrup. PTSA will be purchasing Starbucks coffee, and is asking parents to help provide the “extras” like fruit, gluten-free muffins and cutlery. If you would like to donate items for this event, please sign up here (and share this link with your friends). Non-perishable items can be dropped at school in the front office by 4 p.m. Feb. 17. Perishable items either need to be dropped at school by 7:45 a.m.Monday, Feb. 20 or contact Jackie Turner at 817-718-3897 or to arrange pick up/drop off over that weekend.

The CHHS Counseling Department will host Parent University 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27 at CHHS. The event is open to all incoming 9th-12th grade families. Just prior to Parent U., CHHS PTSA will hold a General Meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall. Parents are invited to attend to approve changes to the CHHS PTSA by-laws and to hear from Principal Lance Groppel. Incoming 9th grade (and all) parents can also sign up for PTSA now for next year to be in-the-know over the summer. Anyone who joins at the PTSA table will get a gift card to Chick-Fil-A.
